after some remix projects and a lot of work on their new live set, the next original mix from saitezwei will be released as digital and vinyl release. also for this project, the two guys cooperatedwith the label tach & nacht from hamburg. the song is a mixture of deep and tech house elements with driving drum structures, saite zwei typical harmonies and a lot of variety. despite complex melodies and heavy chords, the entire ep has become very clubby and danceable this time. among other songs, the release will contain a remix of -morja-. the b side comes with an original track by morja called -reborn-. less melody, more groove could be the topic in comparison to his former releases. coming with a tight set of percussion and a phat forward driving bassline, reborn surprises with some contrary played organ sounds adding even more thrust and energy to the tune. definitely a track to remember. the side gets completed by an interpretation of saite zweis -nighting ale-.

summer season just started and we�re kickin� it off with a pack of quality cuts brought to you by flashmob, danny serrano, clio, spencer k and collective machine: it sounds as good as it is. flashmob�s �year 1993� is a deep organ tech tool that takes over big and small rooms alike, just made for peak time hours. danny returns with slate, a laidback track that hooks with tight snares and a locked groove. next up are spencer k and collective machine who joined forces for this release and we hope they�re up to repeat it, since that�s all where doing with �sonic attitude� and �hit that way(digital only)�. clio completes the package and brings us some good summer vibes with �i need you�, need anything else?

jami bassols has been a close member of hivern since its beginnings as one half of aster. now, following the release of noche/ templo, his two acclaimed edits for nvh, he returns to the label with his solo debut as jmii. in thrills, the barcelonian producer displays a sound that s equally raw and lively, with a very personal sense of quirkiness. the title track is jmii s most expansive production to date. an uplifting house number built around an elastic bassline and sprinkled with a bubbly arpeggiated melody, echoed vocal snips and ravey pads. bailar is a sort of lunatic take on chi-house, with a crude bassline, psychotic organ chords and feverish percussion coming together to form an ultra-infectious groove. tightbrass follows a similar path, but conducted by frenzied synthetic horns that bring to mind a marching band of manic robots. in his remix, comeme s christian s. brings the track to a darker territory, reducing it to it s core elements and focusing in a nasty bassline that will for sure cause serious damage in the dancefloors in the upcoming months.

janette jnett pitruzzello is considered something of a legend in her home city of melbourne, where she�s been djing for well over two decades. here, she delivers her debut solo ep, featuring a quartet of tracks co-produced by maurice fulton. the latter also delivers a solo mix of opener reflection, which adds a little leftfield disco sparkle and percussive sweatiness to an otherwise organ-heavy deep house groove. theres a similarly cheery, funky and disco-tinged feel to the rolling, cut-up house goodness of swangzipani. elsewhere, the duo gets a little stranger in pursuit of dancefloor thrills bubbles away is deliciously dark, wonky and intergalactic, while judge not wanders off into head-nodding, instrumental hip-hop territory.

the three tracks travel in many different directions. speaking directly to all the dreamers, the result is a surprising cross-over in which synthesized european music gets injected by imaginary tropical visions. the record is opening with the inner mind percussive ambient « chekema », an animistic incantation that will please all those who see parties as modern ritual gatherings. the jazzy wave of « get enough » cracks open the b-side. it�s a foggy street jam in which the cold cr-68 rhythm balances perfectly with the warm organ chords of the crumar. closing things off is the spectral reggae song �love so high�, a desperate cry from a polar explorer stranded on an iceberg drifting towards the carribean. heartbreaking.

wah wah 45s return to the 12- format to bring you three incredible re-works from french disco don the reflex, for our very own legendary canadian/haitian keyboard wiz henri-pierre noel. funky spider dance is a percussion heavy bomb filled to the brim with henri s soaring piano licks and infectious female vocal hooks. the reflex has taken what was already a sure-fire club favourite, and created something of a dance floor destroyer. his rework of a fifth of beethoven takes its time to build into another heavy hitter. as the beats make way for henri s deft keyboard flourishes, the recognition of this cover of the walter murphy classic (taken from the saturday night fever soundtrack) begins to dawn - and as it does, it s clear that once again the dream team of hpn and the reflex have worked their magic! last, but certainly not least, the reflex s revision of back home..., sweet home is a modern island funk masterpiece with organ and tropical guitar riffs making way for sunny brass stabs all underpinned by foot friendly beats. the original versions of funky spider dance and back home..., sweet home can be found on henri s one more step lp, and his take of a fifth of beethoven was recently available on 7-inches of wax - all on wah wah 45s of course. the reflex revisions all appear here together on vinyl, in fact anywhere, for the very first time!

bass culture reach that magnificent milestone of 50 releases with an extra special ep from someone who has become part of labels inner circle, the infallible mr g. set up in 2009 by paris stalwart djulz, bass culture records has maintained a consistently high level of music, crossing from techno into house and back again, always with a focus on quality over quantity. mr g delivers two special gems from his arsenal of weaponary to mark the 50th bsss culture release. the first, * transient* sees mr g in contemplative mood, taking a studied approach with this deep, soulful cut. softened pads are drizzled over a punchy low end, with tough, crisp beats supporting a stirring vocal which urges everybody to get up on their feet. the nineties organ lick gives it an almost sorrowful feel, and those pads continue to takes us up to the skies. a beauty. on the flip, * crumple zone* goes straight for the jugular with a driving b-line, alarming stabs and finger-clicking percussion to get that head nodding. combined with garbled, hypnotic vocal clips, its a mesmerising, eyes down cut for the late night heads. towards the latter part of the track, a naughty riff comes in and adds another layer of sleaze to proceedings. and there you have it, mr g proves yet again why he is such a all-round don and bass culture celebrates 50 releases with panache.

this is the third record of the modern house quintet. this new one features one house/deep house track (a side) and a more �detroit-atmosphere� cut on the b-side. �belle-ile� opens with a filtered piano organ which responds to a massive bassline. the second part of the track introduces gradually a flute line, a trumpet sample and a layered pad.�fountain� starts with a pad which is progressively defiltered and quickly joined by a bassline. the break introduces an acid bassline, supported by a string chord. all these elements blend together to create a detroit atmospheric vibe.

on a fishing trip two years ago, the two main guys behind africaine 808: d leyers and nomad - went to a tackle shop to buy some creepy crawlies (saltwater worms), not knowing that they were about to make a life changing discovery. in front of the shop a blind man was jammming on a little electronic organ, stomping his feet, singing, growling and basically making a scene. the boys were quite impressed with the fella, who introduced himself as blind double d . they offered to bring him home and record him. he turned the offer down, but offered instead that they could record him on the spot in front of the tackle shop - if they bought him a bottle of good bourbon. he explained that he would never set foot into a studio again in his life: he was sick of music production and the music industry in general, and that he just wanted this bottle of bourbon and to be left alone. the boys got him the bottle, and recorded blind d.d. on the spot with a tape recorder they borrowed from the tackle shop. unfortunately, the tape was stored in one of the tackle boxes over the trip, and some of the creepy crawlies crawled into the tape and stank it all up. this added some extra funk to the recording. with dirk and nomad s usual studio trickery and production skills, they created the two versions of this very very funky, creepy, stanky track. we hope you ll enjoy it as much as we do.

nice price deal !!! tom and his computer is the newest alias for copenhagen favourite thomas bertelsen. he started out as a teenager by looping and creating beats on his 4 track tape-recorder. since then the very talented producer and dj has been around the block. he produced two albums (with lulu rouge) and a number of songs, edits and remixes. he has also been djing alongside trentemøller every now and then since the early days and most recently tom and his computer performed live on the opening slot of trentemøller�s latest live tour and lately at sonar copenhagen 2015.

radio slave, spencer parker and mr. ties return under their b.a.d.s moniker with remixes of last years iconic hous-o-matik hom-o-patik release. b.a.d.s. is an acronym of berlin amateur dramatics society, the project was established by edwards, parker and de nittis for the original release in tribute to berlins homopatik party, the monthly event series helmed by mr. ties himself. in the house of ties remix a syncopated breakdown erupts into a frenzy of rumbling kicks, infectious vox and montefioris charismatic saxophone. in contrast, parkers reinterpretation is more mesmerising in nature with echoing stabs, reverberating vocals and eerie organ chords.

the title track has already made rounds on numerous dance floors and proved to be an irresistible organ house monster. panthera krause s tracks wiggle within the zone between epic floor moments and abstract beat structures like in the mighty -z-cuts- or in the flute-induced -howling for july-. finally, the space between us- is an emotional ride through the twilight of eternal loss and extravagant hope. the artwork was created by lisa geue.
